DOORS&WINDOWS SPONSORED BY [email protected] SPIKE IN NEW PROFILE INTEREST Following its recent switch to the Profile 22 Optima system, Epwin Group customer BBH Ltd has reported great interest in the new system and one of its busiest years yet. »»DIRECTOR GRAHAM NORMAN explains: “We have been with Epwin and Profile 22 for many years now, and looked forward to fabricating the new Optima range. As we all know, technology doesn’t stand still and the industry continues to evolve and drive forward with the latest advances. “So far it has been really well received, by both customers that have had Optima installed and also by potential customers that have seen our samples. The new design of the sculptured frame is a lot more modern and the 70mm depth lends a sleeker, stronger, slim line look. “The transition to fabricating the Optima system has also been a smooth process, and our shop floor operators and fitters are really happy with the system too.” Hailed as the biggest launch in the window industry for a decade, Profile 22 revealed Optima earlier this year. A fully-integrated, 70mm-depth system, it is easy to install and suitable fo r a wide range of projects. www.profile22.co.uk www.bbhltd.co.uk Perfect Match »»SOUTH STAFFS WINDOWS IS having such success selling Residence 9 (R9) - the composite window system ideal for conservation areas, listed buildings, and period properties - that it’s started selling Residence 7 (R7) too. The two systems are part of the Residence Collection, the nextgeneration systems company. R7 was launched at this year’s FIT Show. From the inside, R7 is completely flush, so it looks like a classically simple timber window perfect for contemporary and traditional homes. From the outside it’s available with flush or storm sashes, just like R9. Its thermal efficiency and weather performance are excellent. South Staffs sales and marketing director Alex Keyes says: “Our business is built to sell quality products so R9 was an obvious choice, and it’s done very well for us. If we compare selling windows to selling cars, we were selling basic models and now, with R9, we’re selling Aston Martins. “R7 is the right system to sell alongside R9,” Alex continues. “They look identical from the outside depending which sash option you choose. R7 offers a different internal look to R9 because it is flush rather than decorative. Add that to R7’s narrower 75mm frame depth and they make a perfect pairing.” www.residencecollection.co.uk 52 » N OV 2016 » CL EARVI E W- UK . C O M
