Victoria Brocklesby, Origin
The COO of one of the UK’s most successful manufacturing companies
talks aluminium, being a mum and working in a male dominated industry.
»»Having studied physics and space science at
university, Victoria Brocklesby moved straight to a career in
manufacturing aluminium bi-folding doors – a far cry from her original
plan to find a desk job in the city.
Neil Ginger, her cousin, had just started manufacturing bi-folding
doors, and so Brocklesby, at the age of 22, went to help him with
administration tasks and found herself at the beginning of her Origin
career.
