FIT SHOW 2016 ENTERING THE MARKET WITH A BUZZ »»Entrance® is delighted with the response to its totally tailored composite door solution at its first FIT Show. The composite door supplier offers a complete package to fabricators, making it easy for them to sell their own range of composite doors without the stress or expense of sourcing or stock-holding. Managing Director Gregory Kelly says: “The show was really busy, so there was a constant buzz around the stand. A real success. “It’s really rewarding to see the number of leads we’ve generated in just three days,” adds Gregory. “The show was great. Visitors to our stand were really interested in the unique service we offer our customers. No one else does what we do.” Entrance gave away 10 composite doors at the show, and was overwhelmed with entries to its free prize draw. One of the winners, Paul Mellor of PM Window Services in Walsall says: “I’m looking forward to receiving my door! I’m a fairly new customer and I’m really pleased with the quality and service I get from Entrance – very professional. After years of dealing with different door companies I’ve finally found one I have full confidence in.” www.entranceway.co.uk 46 M AY 2 01 6 CLEVER DEVICE LAUNCHED AT FIT »»This year’s FIT Show was the most successful yet for the world’s leading warm edge spacer bar supplier SWISSPACER. The stand was constantly busy with visitors keen to see its latest innovations and learn more about its new Marketing Toolkit. There was strong interest in SWISSPACER’s new 32mm and 36mm bars. The new bars, which bring SWISSPACER’s total number of bar widths to 19, are a great choice for bi-folds, conservatories and office environments. SWISSPACER’s new Marketing Toolkit is a free suite of marketing and sales aids and visitors found out how the Toolkit can help them sell the benefits of warm edge. The Toolkit pen knife was a real show stopper and talking point for visitors. It included SWISSPACER’s leading colour range of 17 spacer bars, and iPads for those wanting to try out its energy calculating app Caluwin. There was also an exclusive show of SWISSPACER Air, a clever device that prevents sealed unit failure caused by changes in altitude. SWISSPACER Head of Marketing & Sales (UK & Ireland) John Cooper said: “We had strong leads throughout the three days and it was great to catch up with so many customers.” www.swisspacer.com TRANSFORMING THE MARKET »»Residence 9 (R9), transformed the market when it was launched at the FIT Show 2013. So expectations were high for the launch of The Residence Collection at this year’s Show. The makers of Residence 9 launched the new Residence Collection on a huge, striking stand. Residence 7, Residence 8, and Residence2 now join the fast growing Residence 9 system. Dan Gill, Residence Collection Managing Director says: “R9 has proven that homeowners are happy to pay for windows that look great because they are absolutely right in their detailing and dimensions for older, period, conservation, listed and heritage homes. “The new Residence Collection is a set of four distinct window and door systems that differ in their dimensions and internal look, yet complement each other perfectly.” Residence 7 is a 75mm system with seven chambers that is flush on the inside and, like the other systems, can have a flush or storm sash on the outside. Residence 8 is designed to be Graf welded, a revolutionary welding process, so its corners are in a league of their own. Residence2 is the quickest and easiest window to make because everything about it is square. It looks contemporary and cool, but feels comfortable and warm www.residencecollection.co.uk
