Customers of the trade fabricator took no fewer than five of the ten Regional awards, plus the national trophy and Fitter of the Year, as well as numbering 12 of the total 30 finalists and gaining three new entries into the organisation’s elite 100% Club. Overall champion this year was last year’s Best Newcomer, Frames Conservatories Direct of Bury St Edmunds, also winning top Regional for the East of England. Shane Howells held the West of England title and KJM Windows retained the South; both for the sixth time, while Goliath Homeworld had a fifth win for the Midlands and Cheadle Glass won a second time for the North West, and Fitter of the Year went to Ronnie Pym and Mark Barnfield of Frames Conservatories Direct. Faye is the new Communications Coordinator with specific responsibility for the commercial sector. She is developing information programmes for architects and specifiers designed to challenge the remaining perceptions about the limitations of PVCu, and is working alongside REHAU’s commercial sales team to generate new opportunities for fabricators and installers. Faye is also supporting customers with bespoke marketing activity and is putting together integrated campaigns for fabricators incorporating literature, websites, showroom makeovers, events and social media. Working alongside her is Phillipa Edmunds, who is now a Communications Assistant. Phillipa is coordinating REHAU’s Authorised Partner scheme, and after 13 years as a secretary in the company’s Marketing department, is bringing extensive knowledge of REHAU and its customers to her new role. Faye and Phillipa’s appointments are part of the restructuring which REHAU announced at the start of the year, aimed at making the company more focused on customers in the UK.
