INDUSTRYNEWS Manufacturing Efficiency Workshops »»Bob Scott (Window Manufacturing Consultant) has developed a series of Window & Door Production Management Workshops, through his company AnT Training. ‘cover all aspects of production management’ Starting in June, the two-day workshops will cover all aspects of production management, based on Lean Manufacturing + Theory of Constraints methods, adapted specifically for the window industry. There will be three workshops in the series, starting with foundation, intermediate and advanced production management methods. Each workshop in the series will be focused on giving participants production improvement methods to take away and implement in their organisation. The workshops are suitable for production managers/supervisors/team leaders and anyone involved or interested in improving the manufacturing process. The benefits of lean manufacture apply equally to a smaller fabricator over the entire production line as to the larger producer in specific key areas. Bob’s interest to get companies to improve production efficiency without investing in high consultancy cost is the reason behind the creation of the courses. The two-day workshops cost £499 , and initial courses will be held in the Midlands, at the Ashorne Hill training facility. For further information or to pre-book a place contact Bob on 07966 710552 or [email protected].
