With the new year in full swing , December ’ s FIT Show Installation of the Year winner has now been announced and won by south west-based aluminium specialists Nordic Installations .
Following up Origin ’ s November win for its Prime Windows installation in Bradworthy , the decision to select Nordic ’ s bespoke new build in Dunsford , Devon as December ’ s overall winner wasn ’ t easy .
CAB ’ s Adrian Toon , the competition ’ s judge , said of Nordic ’ s entry : “ It ’ s a great balanced image with flowers in the foreground and a distant blue sky , plus great sunshine on the project . It ’ s a well exposed picture with vertical elements well aligned with the frame of the picture .”
Earning themselves some serious bragging rights for the month , Nordic have won themselves a FIT Show goodie bag and a pair of tickets to the show ’ s popular gala dinner on 24th May . They ’ ve also been added to the shortlist of monthly winners who have the opportunity to be crowned overall Installation of the Year winner , which will be announced at the FIT Show gala dinner .

REAPING THE REWARDS OF LAST YEAR ’ S FIT
As GT Window Products Ltd heads towards their 4th Fit Show and begins to unveil another new product , they also reflect on what Fit Show 2016 has done for them .

At the 2016 show the company believed it was time to re-image themselves to bring the company up to date with not just the industry , but also to what they have become . The launch of Snap Lok last year at the show has seen a significant increase in sales for the business , not just from their re-invented glass security system , but for all their products across the board . Their impressive niche products range from security products , compression devices and fitting procedures all of which have had popular acceptance by many of their customers .
Speaking how the Fit show helped benefit the rebrand , Carl Taylor , GT Managing Director said : “ The FIT show is a great place to launch new products and showcase your existing product range , many people ask the question is the show worth it , do you quantify what you get out of it ? I believe yes , it ’ s very important , we could visit all our customers one by one here in one place and most importantly in the right frame of mind .”
