23 EMPLOYEES OF PVCU window systems market leader , The VEKA UK Group have been recognised for their enduring loyalty to the company , with a combined 185 years of service between them .
A lunch at The VEKA UK Group ’ s Lancashire headquarters saw prizes including meal vouchers , weekends away , and extra holidays presented to the hard-working winners , whose careers with the company range from five years all the way to thirty .

Gary Powell received particular recognition . The Material Test Technician , responsible for assessing both incoming additives and finished compound , has worked at The VEKA UK Group ’ s Burnley base for 30 years , with no signs of slowing down ! |

MAKING A QUARTER OF A CENTURY

GLOUCESTER BASED ALUMINIUM specialist CDW Systems celebrated becoming a quarter of a century old in last month .
Coinciding with its 25 years in business , CDW has launched Reynaers aluminium lift and slide patio doors sets , aimed at the highend of the residential door market .
Along with new products , 2017 will bring several changes to the business and its operations .
Planning is underway to expand CDW ’ s Gloucester-based factory to accommodate increasing demand for its fabricated products .
Previous Managing Director Jerry Webb is now Group Chairman ; and Mike Davis , who has been employed at CDW for 11 years , where he joined as Sales Administration Manager , has become Managing Director .
Mike comments : “ Moving forwards we are taking a positive approach to business . Although there have been whispers of trouble ahead for the construction industry , we have seen an increase in orders from our customers for products for both commercial and residential projects .
“ We ’ ve been doing this for 25 years , throughout two recessions , and we ’ re still going strong . I am confident for both ourselves and our customers going into 2017 and anticipate this will be our best year yet .”

ROSEVIEW HAS DEVELOPED AN enviable reputation for quality , reliability and exceptional service over decades – and now the Buckinghamshire-based firm is celebrating its 40th birthday .
Founded in 1977 as a window and door fabricator , Roseview was at the forefront of window industry innovation when , in 1985 , it was the first company to start manufacturing PVCu sash windows .
In the years since , Roseview has invested immense amounts of time , energy and resources into perfecting its suite of premium sash window products , the Rose Collection . Today Roseview employs 85 staff split across

three manufacturing sites . Less a traditional window fabricator , more a boundary-pushing manufacturer , the firm designs and produces many of the components that make its sash window products stand out from the crowd , including run-through sash horns , mechanical joints , and , on the newly upgraded Ultimate Rose , the slimmest midrail profile on the market .
Roseview intends to celebrate its landmark anniversary across a number of events throughout 2017 – most notably at May ’ s FIT Show .
