The review revealed an issue with the existing saw centre, which wasn’t able to produce the volume of windows and styles the business required. It also brought up issues regarding lack of space required for a new machine. Rooms and Views decided on the Supercut machining centre from Wegoma. Simon Lomax, Operations Director at Rooms and Views commented: “We took a bit of a risk by commissioning the first Supercut 5 to be built, but we needn’t have worried. The machining centre is so good that we estimate it will save us around £25k per year at our current volume levels. “It has been so efficient that we have identified other issues further downstream in our manufacturing process and ordered other new machinery from Wegoma to address the problem.” For further information visit www.roomsandviews.co.uk or www.wegoma.co.uk/supercut Machinery Training for Glass Processing Customers »»Following the successful launch of Glass Processing Products (GPP) by RegaLead at the end of last year, the company is now pleased to announce that it has partnered with Italian machinery specialists TK Tekno Kilns.
