Significant deal with
leading float glass expert
Glaston Corporation has closed a deal
for advanced safety glass processing
machinery valued at over €2 million with
HORN Glass Industries AG, a leading
international float glass plant design
and construction company. The order
is booked in Glaston’s Q2 2016 order
book and the lines are to be delivered
during the last quarter of 2016.
»»THE DEAL INCLUDES A
In demand for
conservatories
Panel Systems reports a major
increase in demand for Styrofloor, a
high performance insulation solution
for enhancing the energy efficiency
of conservatories and extensions.
»»STYROFLOOR IS AN
easy-to-fit insulated flooring
panel suitable for use in new
build and refurbishment
projects. It reduces the amount
of heat lost through the floor,
providing insulation than can
achieve U-values as low as 0.11
W/m-K.
Styrofloor boards are made
from Styrofoam extruded
polystyrene (XPS) insulation,
bonded to a moisture resistant
chipboard finish. The chipboard
incorporates a tongue and
groove detail on all four edges
for easy installation. Because
Styrofoam offers closed
cell insulation, the boards
provide good water resistance
- eliminating the need for a
vapour control layer in the
floor construction. Extremely
durable, it will last the lifetime
of a building.
Boards are available in sizes
2400 x 600mm in a range of
thicknesses to meet specific
thermal requirements and can
be cut on site without specialist
fitting equipment.
Styrofloor can be delivered
directly to site on pallets, or
collected from Panel Systems’
warehouse just off M1 junction
31.
RC350™ tempering line and
ProL™ laminating line. The
RC350™ tempering line is
well-known for its high capacity,
flexible production mix and
premium quality of the end
products while high capacity,
flexibility and ease of use are
the main characteristics for the
ProL™ laminating line.
