DOORS&WINDOWS New ‘Big Thank You’ Award Iceni Windows is the first ever winner of The Window Company (Contracts) new Big Thank You award. »»COMPANY CHAIRMAN David Thornton presented the award for the first quarter of 2016 to Managing Director, Paul Foyle, from Iceni Windows on the Rehau stand at The FIT Show. Iceni was selected by the team at The Window Company (Contracts) because it had delivered service judged to be ‘exceptional.’ When the G-15 Installer of the Year was let down by a different supplier on a new build contract earlier this year, Iceni Windows stepped in and put on a night shift specifically to produce the frames required in Rehau Total70. David Thornton said: “Lots of our top quality suppliers were in the running for this very special first award, but Iceni really did go beyond expectations on this project and that is what clinched it. They responded at short notice and solved what was potentially a real problem for us, and we really appreciated that extra effort. “When we launched the award scheme, we said that it would be all about recognising the contribution which our suppliers are making to our ongoing success and on this project that was exactly what Iceni did. They made sure that we didn’t let down our customer and helped us to maintain the reputation for service and efficiency which we’ve worked so hard to achieve.” As part of its Big Thank You awards, The Window Company (Contracts) has been monitoring the performance of all its suppliers since January 1 and assessing them against a list of criteria which includes service, delivery, efficiency and communication. They will be presenting an award every quarter to the supplier which has performed the best during that period and an overall winner will be announced at the end of the year. www.thewinco.co.uk David Thornton (left) from The Window Company presenting the Big Thank You award to Paul Foyle from Iceni on the REHAU stand at FIT 60 » JUN 2016 » CL EARVI E W- UK . C O M Over 1,000 new customers Solidor, which has been partners with Insight Data for four years, has revealed how Insight’s cloud-based CRM system Salestracker has helped it to acquire more than 1,000 companies directly through the system and with distributor partners who are assigned leads through Salestracker. »»THE COMPOSITE DOOR manufacturer fully adopted Salestracker’s advanced features to manage its sales and marketing activity, and the system is now used throughout the entire business. Amanda Shelley, Internal Sales Manager for Solidor commented: “We use Salestracker internally in the office for sales and marketing, and our sales team uses the mobile version extensively out on the road. So far we’ve managed to bring in over 1,000 new companies using the system.” Insight Data developed Salestracker as a sales and marketing platform that includes the Insight prospect database, giving users access to the entire database of over 15,000 fabricators and installers in the UK with detailed market intelligence, along with an optional list of 45,000 builders, architects and construction firms. “Salestracker is far more than just a prospect database though,” said Amanda. “The system tracks and manages all activity, records leads, sets tasks and has a great map feature and document storage. It also includes financial and credit data, giving us good information about potential customers.” Gareth Mobley, Managing Director of Solidor added: “We have been using Salestracker religiously. We use it to record all the visits we make. The guys on the road use it to help them locate prospects and the traffic light system shows our team whether prospects are credit worthy or not. It has been instrumental in our growth over the past four years.” Email [email protected]
