Glazerite customer and VEKA approved
installer, Daniel Wagg Doors & Windows,
is the latest in a number of eye-catching
refurbishments at Searles Leisure Resort in
Hunstanton, Norfolk, a venue that has been
offering holidays on the coast of ‘Sunny
Hunny’ for over 80 years.
Daniel Wagg was commissioned to replace
the old entrance doors that overlooked the
swimming pool area in the resort’s restaurant,
with a set of stylish rosewood arched French
doors, including panic bars and an external
handle. The new doors, which were fabricated
by Glazerite in VEKA Matrix 70FS profile,
have been designed to match a number of
other recent Glazerite manufactured window
and door installations by Daniel Wagg at the
holiday park.
A spokesperson from Searles Leisure Resort,
said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the new
doors, they’ve made a huge difference to the
look and feel of the restaurant and swimming
pool area.”
Daniel said, “After working in the window
and door industry for over 15 years, I decided
about 12 months ago that the time was right
to set up my own installation comp any.

counter. Operating from Astraseal’s main
manufacturing facility in Wellingborough,
the trade counter stocks a comprehensive
range of installation essentials including
trims, sealants, silicone, screws, fixings, tools
and other ancillary products, all available at
razor sharp trade prices.
A skip facility is also on offer, enabling
installers to get rid of their old frames free
of charge, and there is a 50% discount for
customers that are also ordering windows
and doors from Astraseal.
Operations Director, Colin Stanley,

very comprehensive range of PVCu

conservatories, so opening a trade counter
was the next logical step. The major
motivator behind the trade counter was
to offer more convenience for the installer.
Now, rather than having to go elsewhere,
local customers can simply buy ancillary
items when they collect their order,
while customers based further afield can
order products to go with their delivery.
We’re not making a huge margin on
these products, so it’s really more about
supporting our trade customers.”
