In response to market demands,
AluK (GB) has introduced into its
product range the new BSF70 HD
aluminium folding door system.
»»The superior new
BSF70 HD features a heavy
duty roller and top guide to
accommodate heavier glass load
to an impressive 130kg per panel.
The increase in panel weight
means that fabricators will now
be able to offer their customers
a door system which can carry
heavier double or triple glazed
panels, improving the thermal
efficiency and acoustic insulation
of their homes.
To reliably accommodate the
heavier panels, the BSF70 HD
comes with a built-in alignment
pin within the hinge assembly to
provide accurate and permanent
panel positioning. This added
feature strengthens the panel at
each roller.

Furthermore, the BSF70 HD
has an improved bottom hinge
carrier design incorporating
stainless steel rollers with high
performance needle bearings,
offering the end user safe, quiet
and effortless operation.

Cleverly Updated
Smart Architectural Aluminium, one of

updates to both its Visofold folding
door and Alitherm window ranges.
»»The enhancements
bring a number of new features
to the Visofold 1000 system,
with the three-pane door now
certified to PAS 24 and with
the maximum pane width being
increased to 1.2 metres. A new
improved handle has also been
launched for Visofold 1000.

a U-value of 1.0W/m²K, the
Alitherm 800 window system
has now been expanded
