The new storage facility, in Gillingham which will be completed in spring 2016 will enable VBH to carry an additional 800 pallets of fast moving stock. The company has also made a change to its warehouse layout, set to be implemented at the same time and designed to speed up goods-in and out processes and improve picking accuracy. The creation of the additional storage capacity and the associated warehousing efficiencies has also led to a decision to incorporate VBH’s specialist Architectural Aluminium division, currently situated in Birmingham.
