DOORS&WINDOWS TOP YEAR ROUND PERFORMANCE »»NO MATTER WHAT THE GREAT British weather throws at us the new A++, 0.8 U-value Inliten triple glazed window range by Camden comes top of the class for year round performance. “In winter, customers naturally want to keep their home warm and cut their energy bills,” says Roy Harrison, GB Sales Manager at Camden. “Walls typically have a very low U-value of around 0.3, but they represent a large chunk of your external surface. Windows don’t have the same surface, but have a higher U-value. Typically, with old single glazing having a U-value of around 5 and older double glazing about 3, the Inliten A++ makes a real difference in energy usage, preventing heat loss by 43%. “In summer, you want something that can help keep the house cooler and the low-e coated glass on the Inliten A++ allows significantly less solar gain than double glazing, which helps keep the home from over-heating. In addition, is the added benefit of less condensation inside, plus all of the benefits of the market-leading Inliten system – enhanced security and safety, a huge choice of styles, colours and finishes and an unrivalled 15 year guarantee on frames and glass.” www.camdengroup.co.uk NEVER STANDING STILL »»ONE OF THE UK’S FASTEST growing suppliers of windows and doors has announced it will start manufacturing REHAU products in 2017.
