DOORS&WINDOWS Room to grow Following 20% year on year growth, specialist PVCu sash window fabricator, Roseview Windows, has opened a new 2,500 square foot factory. »»The new factory is stationed next to Roseview’s main 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility and will be used to carry out the more skilled ‘carpentry’ processes such as mechanically jointing frames and polishing welds. Willie Kerr, MD, commented: “We’ve grown from making 500 windows per week to 600 per week over the last 12 months and the new factory will allow us to continue this trajectory well into the future. Our conservation standard window, the Ultimate Rose, has proven to be particularly popular, and from a manufacturing point of view it made sense for us to move some of these processes away from the main production line. “We’ve always been very conscious of lean manufacturing, but the extra space has enabled us to produce frames more efficiently than ever before, meaning we’re well placed for the next stage in our journey.” Roseview offer three high quality sash windows; the Charisma Rose, the Heritage Rose and the Ultimate Rose. The Charisma Rose is made with the Eurocell profile and is the most competitively priced window of the three. Both the Ultimate Rose and Heritage Rose are made with Rehau profile, and are the perfect replacements for a timber box sash. The Ultimate Rose includes full mechanical joints and has been accepted in some of the UK’s most sensitive conservation areas.
