INDUSTRYNEWS FROMTHEEDITOR Stephanie, Clearview Editor As we race quickly towards 2016, firstly, I’d like to say a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our readers, advertisers and editorial supporters from both the publishers and staff of Clearview Group. »»I’m not sure about you guys, but personally the last 12 months have flown by, with my role as Editor being kept busy with vast amount of success stories dominating the pages of Clearview, Pro Installer, Clearzine, Locksmith and Farmers Mart. Even now, what could be sometimes deemed as ‘a quieter period’ for the industry’s timetable, we are still inundated with storylines of continuing growth - through the introduction of new products and services, the development of relationships and investment in staff and equipment. And with no signs of a slowdown, the next 12 months are looking good for companies who continue to innovate. Reflecting on the last year, it is also good to see so many businesses stepping up their sales and marketing activities, giving fenestration specialists the chance to be recognised and nominated as finalists for their efforts at industry award ceremonies such as G15 and the Construction Awards. Turning your attentions back to this our last issue of the year, I’d like to point out some of the fascinating articles that we are running; industry glass giant Saint-Gobain, celebrating 350 years existence, a phenomenal achievement, one of which any industry would be proud of and the much dedicated team members of GM Fundraising, who are setting themselves up for yet another challenge, in the form of the Border2Border Cycling Challenge – good luck. Lastly, our installer support, industry news and business sections are packed with informative and interesting articles that have been chosen to give readers useful information to make informative decisions in their businesses, for 2016. Merry Christmas Everyone! Stephanie 4 » DEC 2015 » CL EARVI E W- UK . John is also good friends with actor Ricky Tomlinson, and played a key part in organising the recent filming session at Warwick’s factory with the Royle Family star. Warwick’s director Greg Johnson commented: “My father has known John for several years and has always been impressed with his professional attitude and ability to quickly build a rapport with anyone he meets. John has got off to a flying start, first landing the contract in North Wales and then organising the promo day with Ricky - he has firmly established himself as a key member of our team.” ‘a fresh challenge’ John commented: “Joining Warwick has been a fresh challenge and I have really enjoyed my time so far.
