PREMIUM FAST-TRACK SERVICE FOR BI-FOLDS
TWR bi-folds has launched a new premium fast-track service that will allow installers
to achieve a three working day turnaround on aluminium bi-folding doors.
»»THE NEW LAUNCH WILL
allow Terry Richardson,
Managing Director at TWR bifolds, and his team to offer RAL
coloured aluminium bi-folds on
a three day lead time, subject to
an order form being completed
by the installer and a deposit
paid.
It is being dubbed the fastest
bi-fold turnaround the industry
has seen and TWR Bifolds is the
only suppliers in the industry to
offer the service.
For its new premium service,
TWR bi-folds can offer a three
‘dubbed the fastest
bi-fold turnaround’
day lead time on any standard
RAL colour and a six day lead
time on any standard RAL dualcolour bi-folding door.
Terry Richardson comments,
“Not everyone requires a set of
doors in three days, as obviously
an extra charge will be incurred.
But this new service is ideal in an
emergency or where an existing
supplier has let someone down at
the last minute.”
TWR has achieved these
superfast lead times through the
introduction of a second shift
at its Sunderland-based factory;
and its historic investment in a
powder coating facility.

or hospitals – or private businesses, such as
hotels or larger corporate organisations.
The range is being launched following
research by AluFoldDirect, which suggests that
following the legal requirement to use SBD
in certain new builds and refurbishments –
specifiers across the country are increasingly
being asked to adopt SBD as a matter of
course.
Craig Miller, managing director of
AluFoldDirect, explains that: “As Building
Regulations head more in the direction of
fully accredited and certified products for
high value installations, installers must be able
to prove they have installed to the standard
specified.
“SBD is a sure fire way of getting products
installed that have withstood the rigours of
extensive testing, under the gaze of a respected
authority.” Craig adds.
