The 3000PX projects 1134 litres per hour with a 3000 PSI and 207 bar. It features an 875EX Series 190cc engine from Briggs & Stratton including ReadyStart technology, which provides simple and easy to use starting without having to prime the engine for high pressure output with low effort starting. With 7 nozzle settings it has a setting for all applications. Also in the Elite series is the 4000 model with a 2100 Series 420cc engine for ultimate performance for professional cleaning tasks. It delivers 908 litres per hour with a maximum PSI of 4000. It has five quick connect nozzles for cleaning options of various angles, with the addition of soap. Prices of the Elite series start from £299 including VAT. Briggs & Stratton also offers a collection of electric pressure washers. Figures from the ONS revealed a recovery in household incomes, which had been hit by the financial crisis. This increase has happened because average earnings are rising faster than inflation and employment rates continue to rise. Jeremy Brett, Managing Director at the CPA, comments: “With more disposable income, some homeowners will be looking to spend this on products and services usually seen as luxury in times of austerity, such as new windows and doors or fitting a new kitchen or bathroom. Let’s not forget that an Englishman’s home is his castle.” This is good news for CPA members as it suggests increased demand for reliable installers and their services is soon to hit the home improvement industry.
