Matt Prowse has been promoted to become group director. Matt has been with the business for the last 16 years and with his renowned talent of offering excellent customer service, he takes on the role with pride, commenting: “Everyday has been a different challenge at Cornwall Glass. My more recent role as glazing and branch manager, allowed me to strength my customer service skills and develop relationships with our customers, and with the support of others from within the organisation I am looking forward to the challenges of my new role.” Joining the business in 2004, Martin Saint has also been promoted. Martin originally started at CGG as general manager, and now takes up the post as production director, responsible for production of all four manufacturing sites. Martin said: “My role will be to ensure the very best production efficiencies are met on our sites for our customers, and I look forward to continue to work with them implementing new procedures and KPI’s where needed to improve our services.” Taking up responsibility as glazing and installation director, along with the daily running of CGC’s Exeter sites, is Mark Herbert. Mark comments: “I have been responsible for our Exeter site since 2010, it has been great to see the sites flourish and grow. My new role will see me responsible for overseeing our Colston Glass Centre, the aluminium side of our business and develop CGC’s glazing teams. And finally, Mark Knight has been appointed as HR director, after spending the last eight years looking after the company’s financial and human resource activities. “My enthusiasm to support the business I have spent time nurturing, hopefully comes through in the work I have done in my roles. I’m looking forward to developing new procedures and processes for the growth of the organisation and its employees.
