Cornwall Glass Group is
welcoming four new directors
to its fold, after being promoted
from within the organisation to
add strength to the businesses
already strong leadership.
Matt Prowse has been
promoted to become group
director. Matt has been with
the business for the last 16
years and with his renowned
talent of offering excellent
customer service, he takes on
the role with pride, commenting:
“Everyday has been a different
challenge at Cornwall Glass. My
more recent role as glazing and
branch manager, allowed me to
strength my customer service
skills and develop relationships
with our customers, and with the
support of others from within
the organisation I am looking
forward to the challenges of my
new role.”
Joining the business in 2004,
Martin Saint has also been
promoted. Martin originally
started at CGG as general
manager, and now takes up the
post as production director,
responsible for production of all
four manufacturing sites. Martin
said: “My role will be to ensure the
very best production efficiencies
are met on our sites for our
customers, and I look forward
to continue to work with them
implementing new procedures
and KPI’s where needed to
improve our services.”
Taking up responsibility as
glazing and installation director,
along with the daily running
of CGC’s Exeter sites, is Mark
Herbert.
Mark comments: “I have been
responsible for our Exeter site
since 2010, it has been great to
see the sites flourish and grow. My
new role will see me responsible
for overseeing our Colston Glass
Centre, the aluminium side of
our business and develop CGC’s
glazing teams.
And finally, Mark Knight has
been appointed as HR director,
after spending the last eight
years looking after the company’s
financial and human resource
activities. “My enthusiasm to
support the business I have spent
time nurturing, hopefully comes
through in the work I have done
in my roles. I’m looking forward to
developing new procedures and
processes for the growth of the
organisation and its employees.
