‘eco’ home
Deceuninck fabricator Ryburne
Windows was recommended for an
award winning self-build ‘eco’ property.
The new build was shortlisted in
the LABC West Yorkshire Building
Excellence Awards 2013 and won
the ‘Best Build Single Dwelling
Award’. The entry was submitted by
homeowners Mr John & Mrs Jean Riley.
The Architect specified
Ryburne to install a semicircular conservatory around
a turret on the property, and
a Baroque framed composite
door on the main entrance
surrounded by a bespoke
frame incorporating glass
bricks. Ryburne’s Managing
Director Peter Willemse
explains:
“This was a great project to
be involved in and I’m very
pleased for the homeowners
on their award win. It clearly
demonstrates the importance
of customer relationships and
the partnership between the
client, architect, specified
installer and the manufacturer
in creating building excellence.
It’s a spectacular build and
a privilege to have been
recommended.”

Ryburne Windows has
fabricated and installed
Deceuninck profile since the
business was set up in 2005.
Peter adds: “There are two
