industrynews TRADE COUNTER BEATS LONGSTANDING SALES RECORD Truemans, the fast growing northern trade counter chain, has reported its record sales week, selling £120k across its three depots during the last week of September. Truemans has been gaining market share for quite some time, steadily building up a loyal following from installers who enjoy the convenience of dealing with a local supplier, and the company is now experiencing a sustained period of significant growth. Managing Director, Joe Trueman, comments on the record sales week: “2013 has been a particularly good year for Truemans. We opened a new branch in Doncaster last month, which has already gone down a storm with local tradesman, and our long-standing Burnley and Sheffield branches have both seen an increase in volume. Volume is coming in from new customers but also existing customers who are ordering more.
