APEER AT THE DOUBLE! Stand 208 Hall 2, The FIT Show, Telford International Centre, June 10-12. Apeer has announced that its stand at this year’s Fabricator and Installer Trade (FIT) show will be twice as big – and twice as good as last year! The company – widely regarded as makers of the most advanced composite doors on the market – is demonstrating its confidence in The FIT Show by taking nearly twice the exhibition floorspace it did at the inaugural event in 2013. THE WINDOW COMPANY (CONTRACTS) MAKING PLANS FOR FIT TAKE A FRESH LOOK AT CLIMATEC AT FIT, Stand 256 One of the first visitors to register for this year’s FIT show was David Thornton, MD of The Window Company (Contr acts), a specialist commercial window installer based in Chelmsford. Having attended for a day last year, David says that he is extending his stay to two days this time to make the most of all that the event has on offer: “I’ll be looking to network with suppliers and new trade partners who can help us to guarantee vital continuity of supply for some of our biggest projects, and I’ve already reserved a table in the new FIT restaurant with a view to meeting customers over lunch. For us, the FIT show is a great forum at which to do business and to see and touch new innovations which normally we would only see in the trade magazines or when sales reps visit. The team at is also hopeful that it will be seeing one of its own fitters, Steven Lockwood, who has entered the Master Fitter Challenge! 74 Exciting times lie ahead for Climatec Windows as it prepares to make its mark at The FIT Show with the ‘Calibre’ profile system. Climatec is only one of four manufacturers in the UK selected to supply the Calibre profile, initially for windows and doors, and the first company to showcase this modern, 45° chamfered multi-chambered product at a trade show. It will also be the only firm to launch this profile system in the UK with additional foil options instead of just the three colours originally released. Marketed as the ‘Perfect Profile’, Calibre is extruded in Britain and provides a system that you would expect to find from any top brand profile supplier. “The 2013 FIT show was an outstanding success for us and we are still picking up new business as a result of it,” said Apeer marketing manager, Linda Tomb. “Last year we launched our new MODO collection at the show – and there will be lots to talk about at this year’s exhibition too.” The Apeer team will be on Stand 208 in Hall 2. email: [email protected] www.apeer.co.uk Available products utilising Calibre include internally glazed casements, bay & bow windows, tilt & turn windows, French windows, residential front doors, stable doors and French doors. It will also be exhibiting windows and doors in two other profile systems that show Climatec’s highest standards of fabrication, as well as a range of bespoke offerings, accreditations, and the full colour portfolio in which it can supply windows and doors.
