Glass Systems steals the Show
with over 150 new leads
Glass Systems, the UK’s
largest independent sealed
unit manufacturer, has
recorded a huge success
at this year’s FIT Show,
with over 150 new leads
collected throughout the
three days of exhibition.
FIT Show visitors were
tempted with a one-off
special offer of 50% off
Climate conservatory roof
glass and a special price
for decorative glass, both
of which attracted a lot of
interest from fabricators
and installers alike.The
decorative glass options
include coloured, neutral and
bevelled designs, while the
Climate conservatory roof
glass is available in a range
of different styles, each one
offering benefits such as
reduced glare from the sun,
self-cleaning and thermal
efficiency. New clients
can take advantage of the
special price reduction until
the end of June.
Following the recent
opening of a new factory
in Peterborough, FIT Show
was the perfect opportunity
for Glass Systems to
connect with fabricators
and installers located in
the eastern region of the
country.

Leading fabricator celebrates
30 years with Deceuninck at FIT
Dempsey Dyer’s presence
at FIT was marked by
an impressive window
industry milestone, as
it celebrated 30 years
of collaboration with
Belgian profile supplier,
Deceuninck.
The Pontefract-based
fabricator marked the
occasion with a champagne
reception held at the
Deceuninck stand.

Dempsey Dyer MD Tom Dyer
said: “Deceuninck has been
a superb supplier for the past
30 years. They offer innovative
products, great service and
they’ve never once let us
down.” The FIT Show was
also the perfect opportunity for
Dempsey Dyer to promote their
Inspire range of PVC-u, timbereffect and timber windows
and doors. Products included
a timber door manufactured
in Euro Oak with a ‘cypress
stain’, a timber door featuring
Maco’s keyless locking system
and the popular ‘timber-look’
mechanically-jointed Beaumont
window. Installers interested
in the company’s PVCu range
were able to visit the adjoining
Deceuninck stand.
Visitors also learned about
the Inspire marketing support
package, a consumer-facing
brand designed to help
installers promote the benefits
of Dempsey’s product range
to homeowners.

‘PERFECT PLATFORM’
FOR CLIMATEC’S LATEST
Climatec Window’s 21st year in
business took off with the launch of
their new Calibre Window and Door
profile systems in January.
But the FIT Show proved to be the
perfect platform to showcase this
product, and demonstrate the high
quality fabrication on which Climatec
pride themselves.
There was a great response to the new
82
Cailbre system. It was the first tim e any
fabricator has shown this product and
by having two casement windows, a
tilt and turn and a residential door on
the stand, Climatec showed the various
options and colours available for this
system.
Climatec also showcased their Rehau
Total70 SBD French doors, along with
the high security hardware and glass
units that enabled them to achieve their
SBD accreditation. There was also a
TV presentation showing the testing
processes that Climatec’s products
undergo before they achieve their
Enhanced Security status.
To show off their fabrication skills
further Climatec exhibited an imitation
timber effect window, utilising the Rehau
Total 70 chamfered and sculptured
profile mechanically jointed, in a white
woodgrain finish. Monkey tail handles
and a dummy stay were used to
complete the overall look.
