NEW PATIO DOOR LOW THRESHOLD SAVES TIME AND BOOSTS PROFITS Hardware specialist, MI Products, has introduced a completely new patio door low threshold with a modern, ergonomic and efficient design that satisfies the demanding requirements of manufacturers, installers and end-users alike. Specially-engineered for fabricators to help save time and improve profits, the uniquelydesigned patio sill is straight cut with no routing or end milling required. This innovative product exceeds industry requirements for a secure, cost-effective and user-friendly access sill that conforms 48 DEC 2013 to Part M Building Regulations and BS6375:Part1:2009. Adapting to most frames and door materials, the sill is thermally-broken to meet thermal bridging/insulation requirements and can be easily replaced on site, if needed. An auxiliary ramp is supplied for easy access, clipping easily into position. MI Products Director Ian Searle explained: “New building regulations relating to Part M have forced changes to traditional PVC-U thresholds. While residential door thresholds have moved forwards, the patio door one had remained virtually unchanged – until now. “The MI Products’ low patio door threshold offers significant improvements over existing products in terms of performance, aesthetics, simple installation and ease of use. Available in anodised silver and gold finishes. Call 02476 305 943, email info@ miproducts.co.uk or visit www.miproducts. co.uk. To read more, visit www.clearview-uk.com
