THE RIGHT DECISION FOR GLAZERITE
More leads...more
new customers...great
networking...great
feedback...FIT Show 2014
proved to be a resounding
success for Glazerite
Windows Ltd.
The trade fabricator used
the show to debut a host
of new products and was
rewarded with an excellent
response from customers
new and old as well as many
major supply partners.
“It proved to be the right
decision,” said Glazerite
Director Jason Thompson,
“The interest the new
products generated kept
us busy throughout the
three days, not to mention
processing all the enquiries
afterwards.
“We met a great many
new, potential and existing
customers of all kinds and
the feedback from all was
very positive.”
Star products at the show
were undoubtedly the new
VEKA Imagine bi-fold, which
was premiered by Glazerite
as the first fabricator to show
the system to installers,
as well as the Residence
9 flush sash system, New
Wave slide/swing doors
and Solidor composite
doors, which are also new
introductions to the Glazerite
range. Visitors were equally
impressed with a preview of
the new VEKA M70 system,
which Glazerite will be
launching in association with
VEKA in 2015.

NINA WOWS FIT SHOW GALA GUESTS!
They dined, they drank, they laughed,
they cheered, they raced for kicks
and gambled for charity ...all in all,
everyone had a really great time at
the FIT Show Gala Dinner – and a
great chance to relax after the rigours
of the exhibition floor.
Top of the bill, award-winning stand up
comic and ventriloquist Nina Conti had
the audience in stitches, especially with
the help of Liniar’s Sue Davenport, Andy
Jones of Edgetech, and TruFrame’s
Patrick Firmager, earning their own
applause as reluctant participants in her
offbeat ‘human dummy’ routine.
There was big money going round
too as Master Fitter Challenge Winners
Paul Casbolt and Karl Kinsey of Yes
Glazing solutions, runners-up Steve
Price and Terry Griffin of Conway
Windows and, as thirds, father and
son team Andy and Aaron Clegg of
Eco-Sash were presented with their
prizes of £5,000, £3,000 and £2,000
respectively.
MADi, the FIT Show’s chosen charity
was another winner, receiving all the
proceeds from the games played on
the night.
FIT Show MD Paul Godwin said the
whole event had been a resounding
success.
LINIAR – FIT FOR THE FUTURE INDEED
With the largest exhibitor
presence at the FIT
Show, Liniar knew that
all eyes would be on its
stands. Combine that
with sponsoring the
Master Fitter Challenge
final, and the systems
house certainly didn’t
disappoint!
Visitors learned about
Liniar’s thermally efficient
system and got up close
and personal with products
including the ModLok™
bi-fold doors (now cycletested to over 120,000 full
opening sequences!), the
timber alternative Flush Sash
casement window, the latest
inline sliding patio door, the
Liniar Zoom conservatory
roof with latest updates, and
many more.
Liniar’s ‘FIT for the Future’
theme continued throughout
the stand design itself, with
technology playing a big
part. One unmissable feature
was the brand new Supercut
machining and cutting centre
jointly developed by the
Liniar team and Wegoma,
it marks the start of a new
era in the supply of world
class machinery for the
industry. Sponsoring the
Master Fitter Challenge finals
meant installers who’d never
used Liniar before could get
hands-on with the system,
and the feedback was
overwhelmingly positive.
Andy Carrington from
competition organisers GQA
Qualifications, commented:
“Liniar’s support was
fantastic; I could not have
wished for better.”
