In this brandnew , fast-paced and fascinating multimedia presentation , historian Barry Bradford will offer us a mini biography of the real Alexander Hamilton and his place in American history . Then we will look at Lin Manuel Miranda , the genius who created and starred in Hamilton . Finally , we will look at the musical itself . High school students will play excerpts from the songs , as Barry explains the narrative structure and help you have a greater appreciation for the show , whether you ’ ve seen it a dozen times already or are seeing it for the first time ! April 4 Consolidated Election Information
All registered Lake County voters are eligible to vote early or on Election Day , Tuesday , April 4 . Voting sites are open on Election Day from 6 a . m . -7 p . m .
Early Voting will take place at City Hall , 220 E . Deerpath , from Monday , March 20 through Saturday , April 1 . Hours are Monday-Friday , 9 a . m . -5 p . m . and Saturdays , 9 a . m . - 2 p . m .
Reptile Rampage
Sunday , March 12 at the Rec Center ; $ 10 per person ( kids under 3 free ). Bring your friends and family for one of Chicagoland ’ s largest reptile exhibitions . Enthusiasts and experts from around the region will exhibit more than 150 snakes , lizards , turtles , tortoises and more . Visitors will have opportunities to meet , handle and learn about many of these animals and speak with representatives from museums , universities , zoos , nature centers and private collections . Kids will be able to engage in many activities , including face-painting , and a silent auction to benefit the Wildlife Discovery Center and various conservation programs will be ongoing throughout the day .
