SUMO SUMO Sumo Sumo in Sherwood Park is one of our favorite places to eat with the kids because of the versatile menu. The kids love the spring rolls and we love the sushi but we will often choose to take-out from the quick pick up part of the restaurant rather than dining with the kids, as it gets busy. PASTA PANTRY Another restaurant located in Sherwood Park, Pasta Pantry is a staple for those evenings when we just don’t feel like cooking. The delicious, fresh pasta with homemade ingredients often sells out, so head there earlier than later for dinner. My favorite option? The take it home and cook it yourself – or, the best way to get guests coming back time and time again for dinner. FAMOSO PIZZERIA Famoso is one of our go-to places for lunch with the kids. Delicious pizza, quick service and gelato to finish the meal make it a family favorite. You’ll often find us there with the kids on a Saturday afternoon. 18 • OODLE NOODLE Quick and easy, Oodle Noodle is my top choice for something a bit different for meals on the go. The girls are won over with spring rolls and we’re won over with a fast meal that’s something different than usual. Plus, the easy location is perfect for exploring downtown on summer afternoons or a quick pick up to bring it home for dinner. MONTANAS Adding a few kids to your dinner out can be expensive, but there are ways to get around this. At Montana’s, Kids eat free on Tuesdays. It’s a way to save a few bucks off the bill, and the stress of dinner a couple of times a month. As a bonus, there is usually entertainment in the form of balloon animals during dinner service, and portion sizes are large enough that two young children can share.
