Choosing to raise my family in downtown Vancouver came naturally to us; we had
already been living in the city as a couple, partly so that I could be close to my job
and partly because we found it to be so much fun! My husband and I loved everything
that city life had to offer us and that didn’t change when our babies were born and
we didn’t hesitate to stay put in an apartment downtown.
Vancouver had been our home for many years before kids and we truly loved all of
the amenities that city living had to offer us. Of course, since we had kids we’ve had
a few people perplexed at how it is even possible for a family to stay and grow
