Parramatta gets QT QT Hotels & Resorts will open its third hotel in NSW, with a new hotel in Parramatta. Part of the 8 Phillip Street mixed-use apartment tower the hotel will feature 205 standard deluxe rooms, 50 executive deluxe rooms and two QT suites. Event space is to include a ballroom accommodating 200 people seated. 8 Phillip Street is scheduled to open in 2020. View to thrill The Sofitel hotel in Queenstown has unveiled its new -look top suite, Penthouse No.10, following a NZ$2 million update. Located just a few moments from the heart of Queenstown on the top floor of the Sofitel, the 225sqm penthouse can sleep up to six guests offering sweeping views of Lake Wakatipu, two living areas and fireplaces, an eight-seat dining table, a private movie theatre, and an oversized patio complete with a six-seater jacuzzi. New look Vibe at Rushcutters Bay Vibe Hotel Rushcutters Bay, Sydney has unveiled a new look and new bar and dining venue Storehouse on the Park. The hotel has an additional 13 rooms and its lobby, bar and dining area and rooftop pool deck have been transformed after a six month refurbishment. The upgraded meeting areas now allow for indoor and outdoor catered events and cocktail functions for up to 200 guests. Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort gets upgrade Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, in the Hunter Valley, is undergoing additional improvements to further enhance the overall guest experience, with a $4 million upgrade to its villa accommodation, championship golf course, conference and events facilities, common areas, and onsite food and beverage establishments. Peppers heads to WA in royal style Peppers Kings Square Hotel has opened in Perth, marking the brand’s first foray into Western Australia.
