Cider Mag March 2015 Issue 47 | Page 5

Cider Press Publishers Juliana and Brett Wilson Editor Juliana Wilson Dear Cider Mag Readers, March marks our one year anniversary as the new owners and publishers of Cider Mag! Brett and I have really learned a lot this year and are very excited about the direction this regional music magazine is headed. We are proud to be “The NH and VT Entertainment Authority” and have taken Cider Mag to many new places this year. I want to thank you for coming along this journey with us, as we wouldn’t be anywhere without you, our readers. Please let us know what you think. We want your feedback in the form of emails, letters, photos, messages, posts, and Tweets! Our Cider Mag mission this year—hopefully in the next couple of months—is to feature your comments in a section of the magazine each month, for everyone to read. This month also marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring! I couldn’t be happier about this, even though the snow in my yard is still up to my thighs. As a lifelong New Hampshire resident I know that mud season is just around the corner, which is followed by my favorite, festival season! So, in this issue we continue our club coverage with an exclusive interview with The Expendables, from their recent stop at Higher Ground. Writer John Powell really helps you get to know these guys, who are an inspiration to musicians everywhere, as they keep making fabulous Reggae-Rock music for their growing number of fans. We’ve also taken the time in this issue to introduce you to a couple emerging bands: Ajar Project and At the Heart of It. These two New Hampshire groups are stepping out in the Rock scene, and I am happy to familiarize you with them. As always we recommend a Ghost Dinner Band show, so this month we bring you a very energetic review from a recent show. Cider Mag also wants to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to all the Vermont bands that make up the Big Heavy World SXSW 2015 Vermont Showcase this month in Austin, Texas! Read the details and make sure to wish them all well on their big adventures. Cheers!
