DAN KILPER ALAN WILLNER

Dr. Kilper is a professor at the University of Arizona as
well as an adjunct professor at Columbia University. He
also oversees the TOAN Testbed for CIAN.
Dr. Willner is a professor at the University of Southern
California in engineering and is also the Steven and
Kathryn Sample Chair in Engineering at USC.

Dr. Bergman is the Charles Batchelor Professor of Electri-
cal Engineering at Columbia University. She is the direc-
tor of the Lightwave Research Laboratory.
Dr. Wu is the Professor of Electrical Engineering and
Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. He is the Co-Director
of Berkeley Sensors and Actuators Center.
MICHAL LIPSON ROBERT NORWOOD

Dr. Lipson is a professor at Columbia University in Elec-
trical Engineering. She is a pioneer in the field of silicon
photonics and invented the GHz silicon modulator.
Dr. Norwood is a professor at the University of Arizona,
College of Optical Sciences, specializing in Photonics.
CONNIE CHANG-HASNAIN LLOYD LACOMB, JR

Dr. Chang-Hasnain is the Associate Dean for Strategic
Alliances, College of Engineering, and John R. Whinnery
Distinguised Chair Professor of Electrical Engineering

Dr. LaComb is a professor at the College of Optical
Sciences at the University of ARizona. He is also the pres-
ident and CEO of the startup company DMetrix.
Dr. Papen is a professor of electrical and computer engi-
neering at UCSD. His research involves systems applica-
tions of optics in computing and commuication.
