How did you make the decision to make art your career, rather than just a hobby? I haven’t make the decision to make painting my career, I just started painting at one moment in my life, when I felt more free and in peace. The rest happened kind of by itself. Does painting ever feel like work? To me painting never feels like work, but more like fun and creation. I guess some work could feel that way too at times. I just loose my self in it and time stops. I could spend 10 h as if it was 1h . How do you avoid artists-block and keep the creative juices flowing? My creative process does not include much influence from others actually.I see a painting in all the things around. Nature is a big influence for me to create. Not only by its colours and composition, but also the deep inner peace and joy it brings inside me. Gives me inner vastness, from which the creation process emerges. It’s like making space within and all comes through this space as a vision or a feeling.Sometimes just watching the fire burns gives me so many ideas for painting. So magic to watch this miracle of nature in which the painting is changing every few seconds!I also love to look at paintings and sometimes a color combination or a beautiful composition could be a creative influence for me. Not in a way to repeat it, but more as a wider range of seeing different possibilities.
