Pinot Noir: Etude Winery is a must-stop for
every Pinot Noir lover. Opt for the “Study of
Pinot Noir” tasting and don’t forget to leave
without purchasing a bottle of their 2002 Etude
Heirloom, it has flavors of wild berries and
loamy earth. Pair it with a red kurri squash soup
or mushroom and burrata bruschetta. Williams
Selyem, although not a household name, has some
of the top rated Pinot Noir’s in the world. Their
2007 Litton Estate Vineyard from the Russian
River Valley has 100 points with rich acids and
complexes of grilled cherries, strawberries, and
smoky sandalwood.
The crown jewel of this resort however, would be
The Restaurant at Meadowood. Awarded Three
Michelin Stars, your experience at this
establishment is more than just dining; it’s a
culinary journey. There are no set menus; head
chef Christopher Kostow wants you to focus on
each plate presented instead of looking ahead to
what is yet to come. The menu is created each day
based on seasonal fruit and vegetables and freshest
seafood or meat. Each meal is also tailored based
on the diner’s personal preference. Before you even
check-in their concierge has called you to find out
food allergies and aversions.
Dining at The Restaurant becomes an intimate
and personal experience unlike anything else I’ve
experienced. Alexis Davis, the head sommelier at
The Restaurant, guides your vino experience to
create the perfect balance of food and wine, you’ll
leave wondering whether you had a better time
eating or drinking.
