Ask for Luigi is an Italian gem located in Vancouver, BC
offering a casual, intimate Italian-inspired atmosphere and
setting. Chef and co-owner Jean-Christophe has teamed up
with general manager Matthew Morgenstern and the group
behind Pourhouse and Pizzeria Farina. Jean-Christophe has
tapped into the mentality of Italian cooking to create the
menu at Ask for Luigi saying “Our food is Italian inspired
but we don’t focus on specific regions. It’s my own interpretation of each dish and I get my inspiration from the way
people eat in Italy, or in Europe in general … sharing food
and having a good time at the table. I’m cooking using
Italian flavor but also using my French background making it much more personal.”
When travelling to BC, visit this little Italian joint at the
corner of Alexander and Gore and ask for Luigi.
