After undergoing an extensive design transformation
in early 2014, the newly renovated Riverview Room,
at Nottawasaga Resort, has re-opened its doors to
the public with subtle and organic elegance.
With a design that seamlessly integrates modern
architecture with the resort’s organic and natural
setting, the Riverview Room beautifully enhances
the scenery of the surrounding Nottawasaga Valley.

The spectacular views of the Riverview
Room, compliment a contemporary open
concept dining space that features a menu
suited to all tastes. On Sundays, you can
indulge in our famous Sunday Brunch,
which features a gourmet selection of
breakfast favourites like: made-to-order
omelettes, fresh Belgium waffles or crepes,
assorted fresh salads, or an exceptional
selection of hot items, freshly baked cakes,
pastries and pies.
In order to maintain the Riverview Room’s
authentic features, various natural elements
have been utilized throu ghout the design.
This includes stunning red gum wood walls,
custom iron reed screens, and simple yet
elegant hand blown glass fixtures that
accent the grand 22ft tall fireplace, which
sits within the heart of the Riverview Room.
For some of the most spectacular views, the
southern wall of windows offers the most
breathtaking outdoor scenery of the
valley, making you feel as if there is nothing
between you and nature.
The Resort’s new design aesthetic, allows for
a natural progression from the newly
renovated lobby into the captivating new
200 seat restaurant. Sylvia Biffis, Director
of Sales at Nottawasaga Resort, tells us how
space and intimate seating sections were
“achieved with booths and elevated seating
spaces surrounded by large privacy screens,
creating both fireside dining and river view
