Children’s Oral & Dental Health
WORKBOOK
INSTRUCTIONS
This workbook has been developed to
support the clinical learning experience of
students placed with providers of services
for children and young people, e.g. dental
health clinics, schools and Plunket/well
child.
Disease prevention, health protection and
the role of the Registered Nurse as a health
promoter and educator are core areas of
exploration for the student while on this
type of clinical placement.
The student should be able to build on
knowledge and skills developed in BN1 and
use this to help inform their practice in BN2.
