722.525 Introduction to Nursing in a Community Setting Children’s Oral & Dental Health WORKBOOK INSTRUCTIONS This workbook has been developed to support the clinical learning experience of students placed with providers of services for children and young people, e.g. dental health clinics, schools and Plunket/well child. Disease prevention, health protection and the role of the Registered Nurse as a health promoter and educator are core areas of exploration for the student while on this type of clinical placement. The student should be able to build on knowledge and skills developed in BN1 and use this to help inform their practice in BN2.
