The Grove City Development Department is prepared and eager to assist with your business expansion or joining our vibrant community . Development staff works actively with the business community and developers to create and retain jobs , promote business growth while maintaining balanced development .
To further advance the economic vitality and enhance the quality of life of the community , staff oversees and coordinates many aspects of the City ’ s growth and development . Programs are in place to promote the City through strong public / private sector relationships to advance growth potential and diversify the economic base .
Staff also assists the Planning Commission and City Council by preparing comprehensive plans , policies , code changes and recommendations for current planning projects . Department staff also administers grant , loan and other incentive programs to spur investment and promote economic growth . Increasing the number of jobs is a key staff focus realized through personal assistance to small business startups , promoting entrepreneurship and serving as a constant advocate for the business community .
