Chamber Business Connection Vol. 1, Issue 6 | Page 8

What Happens in Grove City, Stays in Grove City is back for round two! The Grove City Area Chamber Foundation is excited to announce that the annual Foundation Fundraiser will take place on April 29 from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. at Oakhurst Country Club. Last year, we brought you the Sounds of Sinatra with Brian Michael Smith and his eight piece swing band. This year the Foundation is pleased to have Swing's The Thing and their big band sound as the floorshow for the evening! Also back by popular demand is Carroll Baker and his award winning comedy magic. This year, tickets are $100 each which entitles guests to a delicious dinner, cash bar, blackjack, silent auction and more, including one entry for prizes such as $10,000 cash and $5,000 in additional cash and prizes depending on the number of tickets sold. The dress for the evening is business casual. For tickets, contact Marilyn Reiner at (614) 875-9762 or [email protected]. The doors at Oakhurst Country Club, 3223 Norton Rd, will open at 6 p.m. Second Chance Side Board purchases will be available from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Floor shows and drawings begin at 7 p.m. The Grove City Chamber Foundation is a charitable entity organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Since its estab- lishment in 2012, the Foundation has awarded $38,000 in scholarships to area students pursuing college degrees, technical training or career advancement. Through the generosity of area businesses and individ- uals, the Foundation is making its mission a reality..."Giving Strength to Tomorrow's Business Leaders Through Education."
