The Grove City Chamber Foundation Scholarship helped me follow my dream to attend Columbus State Community College to obtain my two year Associate of Science degree , once I complete my two years at Columbus State , I will be transferring to Ohio State to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and Business . By receiving this scholarship I was able to stay at home , save money and keep my job at Krogers while still obtaining a quality education . Being a resident of Grove City all my life , and hoping to raise my family here one day , means a lot to me that the Grove City Chamber Foundation helped me by supporting me and my dreams . I cannot thank the Grove City Chamber Foundation enough for this scholarship .
I am very grateful to the Chamber Foundation for granting me an educational scholarship . I have used the money wisely and have graduated from Ohio Christian University with a 3.94 gpa and my name proudly on the President ’ s list each semester . Additionally , because of my new degree , I have been promoted to the Business Manager position for my company . The benefits of being a Chamber Foundation scholarship recipient however , go far beyond the monetary award . I have been made aware of the generosity of people and businesses in our community who support education . The cycle of support ; someone giving to the Foundation , the Foundation delivering scholarships , scholarship recipients using their awarded scholarship dollars to continue or complete their education , graduates finding work in their community and in turn – giving back to the community through organizations such as the Chamber Foundation . I look forward to the day that I proudly give my first donation to an organization like the Chamber Foundation and begin a new cycle .

OCU offers classes in Grove City just 1 night a week from 6-10pm , or entirely online , to make earning your degree convenient , flexible , and affordable . Areas of study include multiple concentrations in Business , Healthcare Management , Ministry , Psychology , Human Services , and many more . MEET THE PRESIDENT OF HARRISON COLLEGE
Welcome to the new Campus President of Harrison College , Bill Stradley . Bill came to Harrison at the end of 2016 from Tennessee after working in private education for many years and is quickly settling in at Harrison and feeling at home in Grove City . Bill has a driving philosophy that he uses to keep on track - ' students come first '. This motto remains true even in a school where 60 % of enrolled students are taking classes on campus and 40 % are getting their degree through distance learning . Bill is dedicated to learning student ' s names and keeping his door open to students and staff . One Harrison student said , " I ’ m so blessed to go to a school that really does care about their students ." Perhaps that is why Harrison College can boast a very low dropout rate ; most of the 200 current students will finish their course of study and graduate . Through Internet marketing , billboards , Facebook , television , cable and radio advertising , Bill hopes to reach enrollment of 400 . Bill is passionate about private education and his actions back up his words . All of Bill ’ s kids have graduated from colleges like Harrison . The Harrison model has been working for over 114 years and is proven in the lives of it students , faculty and in the communities that it serves .
