Celebrate Vaughan / 2016
Steven Del Duca
still remembers when it
took him two hours to get
to school from his home
in Kleinburg. That was in
the late 80s and early 90s,
long before he became
Ontario’s current Minister
of Transportation and one
of the key players in one
of the largest development
plans for transit and infrastructure in this province’s
history. Today, almost 30
years after those two-hour
trips, those memories
seem to weigh heavy on
his mission to revitalize the
systems that move people
and goods through the city
of Vaughan and beyond.
