When you're in a position of strength it’s
extremely important to help those, who
through no fault of their own, may have
fallen through the cracks or are facing
challenges which require a community response,” explains Mayor Bevilacqua, stating
that this initiative sends a simple but power-
ful message. “The Mayor's Gala and Charity Golf Classic tells those in need that there
are people out there that are willing to help
them. No one should ever be excluded, forgotten or made to feel that they are alone.
These two events have inspired generosity
because they are value-driven and people
feel that they're a part of something bigger.
It serves everyone - not just the privileged
few,” he adds further mentioning that he
opened these two celebrations, now coined
The Spirit of Generosity, to everyone in the
