Fermilab Tour & Country House Lunch
Travel to Batavia for a private guided tour of Fermilab,
known as America’s National Laboratory and employing 1,750 employees including scientists and engineers
from around the world. Fermilab studies secrets of the
universe through the smallest of particles and the most
advanced particle accelerators in the world. Following
the tour, the group will dine at the The Country House
in Geneva for a self-pay lunch. Fee includes tour and
transportation by Park District bus. Registration deadline
is April 7 and refunds will not be issued after deadline.

Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens and
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Laurent House Tour
Two great locations in Rockford, IL! First stop is the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens which are situated
along the beautiful Rock River. Enjoy a self-guided tour
of the third largest conservatory in Illinois featuring a
tropical setting with sculptures and water features. Outdoors you can explore the Eclipse lagoon, waterfall,
and walkway to the Sinnissippi Rose Garden.
Then, it is on to the next stop. The Laurent House in Rockford is the only building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright
for a person with a disability. The home features a solar hemicycle footprint, patio, fishpond, carport, and
outdoor connectivity to the natural landscape. After
the tour, the group will dine at the Machine Shed Restaurant for a self-pay lunch. Fee includes the tour and
transportation by Park District bus. Registration deadline
is April 21 and refunds will not be issued after deadline.
