Get Your Band
Together!
The Illinois Park & Recreation Teen Committee offers an incredibly unique opportunity
for teen bands throughout Illinois. This event
features young musicians and gives them a
chance to play in front of a new audience,
meet other bands, and gain experience on
stage.
This is your chance to get your band heard!
Judges provide feedback at each level of
the competition and the winning band will
earn the opportunity to headline the Cary
Park District’s “Summer Concert Series”. The
top band will also win an additional opportunity to play at the regional competition,
and possibly advance to the state finals.
To register for this event, submit your application to Liz at the Community Center.
The form will be available online as early as
March. The deadline to submit your application is May 19. Tentative date for the Battle will be held during the middle of June.
More information to
come in the summer
brochure available
April 2017.
