Provide opportunities to explore,
play, experiment, and problem solve
through teacher directed and student initiated activities based on curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards.
Our Teachers
Our nurturing and experienced teachers provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment for young children.
Our teachers have obtained college
degrees and are qualified in early
childhood development. They also
attend conferences, seminars, and
trainings to keep current with issues
in early childhood education, health,
and safety.
Promote a child’s sense of individual
worth and belonging as part of a
group and community.
Create a language, math, and science rich environment that understands and meets the developmental
needs of each child socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually
through literature, cooperative learning, and dramatic play.
Establish constant parent communication through daily conversations,
conferences, and progress reports
encouraging a home to school connection through nurturing positive relationships.
Promote awareness of the larger community with visitors and field trips. Field
trips and guest visitors are planned to
extend your child’s learning experiences, enhancing their understanding of the environment, their community, themselves and the world around
them through hands-on discovery
and exploration.
Follow the guidelines for kindergarten
readiness skills.

Making the decision to send our son to Cary Park
District Preschool was easy given all the positive
recommendations we received from other families
in Cary. We now understand firsthand why everyone
loves the Preschool! The teachers and facilities lend
to a friendly, comfortable environment that is the
perfect fit for our family. Our son has flourished and
his younger brother and sister will also attend in the
