ETDP SETA Skills Programme facilitators
and then broadened her offering to
include career development coaching, HR
consulting, recruitment and selection, as
well as corporate workplace programmes,
which she now specialises in.
In total, over 160 entrepreneurs have
benefited from the programme through
the participating KZN chambers, and
on average at least three jobs have
been created by each of the succe ssful
programme participants.
“Solving the job creation problem of
the country is dependent on making sure
that there is a thriving entrepreneurial
environment and a thriving small business
environment,” said Oelofse. “Only in that
way can we address inequalities through
job creation.”
