former marketing and communications
manager for the Msunduzi Municipality,
Brian Zuma, to talk about his career and
future plans, and to ask why he prefers

for business meetings.
“Most of the meetings I have here are
business meetings,” he said. “Almost
90% of the meetings we had for Starlight
Promotions [his company that organised
the Pietermaritzburg Jazz Festival] were
held here. Golden Horse was one of the
sponsors. We found this place suitable for a
business meeting in that the food is good,
there’s no noise, people mind their own
business, and the ambience is beautiful.”
