JASON McHUGH: Executive Producer, New Cannibal Society Jason McHugh is an American transmedia producer, writer and actor, who produced Trey Parker’s first two feature films Cannibal! The Musical and Orgazmo with Matt Stone. McHugh also plays Frank Miller in Cannibal! and part of the film crew in Orgazmo. The South Park character “Jason” is an homage to McHugh, who also worked on the pilot episode of South Park. McHugh went on to produce one of the very first streaming media websites before getting drafted to work with rock legends Perry Farrell and Les Claypool. McHugh wrote, produced and directed, Mindfield, a text messaging prankster game, created by Perry Farrell, and played by thousands of rock fans at Lollapalooza for several years. He produced and acted in Les Claypool’s Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo, a mockumentary about “Jam Rock” that featured Matt Stone, Seth Green, Bob Weir, Cannibal star Dian Bachar, South Park writer Kyle McCulloch and many more . In 2011, he released a book titled Shpadoinkle: The Making of Cannibal! The Musical, which chronicles all aspects of the making of Cannibal! Besides producing the original feature film, McHugh has executive produced dozens of Cannibal! The Musical stage shows since 1998.
