Pioneer DJ DJM-250MK2 Mixer
TASCAM Track Factory Audio Production System
TASCAM has released the Track Factory complete audio production system. The bundle
is built around an Intel NUC mini-computer that has been preconfigured for music
production and includes everything needed to quickly start recording, including
software, a microphone, interface, and headphones.
Built with hand-selected hardware components and equipped with a 2.7 GHz Intel
Core i5-5250U processor with 3 MB of cache, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB M.2 solid-state
drive, the Track Factory's customized Intel NUC mini-computer delivers the power of a
desktop PC in a compact, 4x4-in. form factor. It has four USB 3.0 ports, a Mini Display Port
1.2, a MINI-HDMI 1.4a port, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.2. It runs a version of
Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition that has been streamlined and optimized by PC
Audio Labs for digital multitrack recording and editing.
Cakewalk's SONAR Professional DAW comes preinstalled and configured for the
bundle's TASCAM US-2x2 USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interface. Rounding out the package is
a TASCAM TM-80 medium-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone and a pair of
TASCAM's closed-back TH-02 headphones.

Pioneer DJ has released the DJM-250MK2 two-channel
DJ mixer, the entry point into the DJM series.
The clear layout of the DJM-250MK2’s lower
half makes it easier to perform complicated scratch
techniques. The Magvel crossfader, inherited from
the flagship DJM-900NXS2 mixer, is designed to
feel accurate and assured and is durable, capable of
approximately 10 million movements.
The upper half of the mixer features three-band
isolators, which can be used to completely eliminate
a chosen frequency range. Each channel has its
own filter inherited from the Sound Color FX on the
DJM-900NXS2, which can be applied by twisting the
dedicated knob and then adding texture with the
separate parameter knob.
The built-in sound card means users can connect
the mixer to a Mac or PC via USB and use the bundled
rekordbox dj application to mix music files stored on
their computer.
