Radial Engineering has introduced the Texas-Pro , an overdrive pedal combined with a clean booster circuit .
The Texas-Pro begins with Radial ' s Class-A buffering circuit and retains the natural feel and responsiveness of the guitar while also allowing it to drive multiple pedals and longer cable runs . The Overdrive section is capable of a wide range of tonal variations , with individual controls for drive , output level , and tone , so users can dial in the settings that best match their guitar and amp . A three-position Range switch allows users to select the style of overdrive , from warm vintage tones to a modern rock style or aggressive over-the-top saturation .

Roland has released the Go : Mixer , which allows mobile musicians to mix audio and record video with their smartphones . It is powered from the smartphone , so no batteries or AC adapter are required .
With multiple inputs available , users can connect a microphone , instruments , and media players and mix them all together live while they shoot video . The Go : Mixer is designed to capture high-quality audio directly in the video without relying on the phone ’ s mono microphone or recording external audio tracks that have to be synced later in a video editor .
