The much anticipated brand-new Kilmarnock
Campus officially opened to students on
Monday 24 October.
Staff at Ayrshire College moved into their new
workplace over the October break and have been
very impressed with the open space and facilities
available to them.
Joinery Lecturer Craig Barrie said “This building is
a fantastic learning environment for our students.
It couldn’t be any better. The students in my
department will be working with brand new
machinery and tools.”
Holly Bates, Student President at Ayrshire
College, said “The sense of space is excellent. It’s
great to have the students here, and it’s exciting
to see so many students buzzing around taking
their first look at the new Kilmarnock campus”
